bought my ticket today "covered grandstand seating" - according to the Organisors that means i have entry to ANY grandstand and choice of seats therein. nice !

(the UK drivers will be selected from a competion in August apprantly to go head to head with Japan's finest on the day )

I wanna go, but is there going to ba a prior meeting point for everyone to meet up together for same grandstand seating area? (i know there are no seat numbered tickets just wherever)

(maybe driving there on own but want to meet up with everyone )

Maybe a meet at last services / junction off motorway nearest silverstone so it will be a catch-all for everyone mostly?

how about Newport Pagnell Services on the M1 northbound (between J14 & J15)

J15a is the turn off we need to head across to Silverstone (15mins from M1 J15a)

it's up to people to buy their own tix !... but we are arranging a convoy and a meet up before hand so we can all go in together and put names to faces etc etc ..

yeah the Thurrock point is shall we say the "starting" point for my own particular convoy... basically anyone from Kent/Essex has a meeting point and we will then make our way around the M25 anti-clock wise to the M1...

hopefully picking more and more up on the way

the Newport Pagnell "stop" will be where most can meet as it's just 15mins down the round from Silverstone and we can then all convoy in together / stand about togther if people want to.

Just tried to buy tickets for this on the silverstone site, only standing left

That's odd, I just bought some 2 minutes ago and got covered seating.

It appears online they are saying only standing is left, but if you ring you can still get seating....
