The route links up two fantastic roads, it's pretty much the shortest distance between them
Re: Northwest Cars & Coffee - 18 May
Is it 'the evo triangle'?
Route looks very similar according to a mate of mine.

Don't think so. The bit of the Evo triangle I've done was much further south than this...
...although I don't actually know what constitutes the Evo triangle

It's the mysterious place where drivers lose all their skill and rely on computers and traction control yet claim they are (insert your favourite driving legend here)

Just haven't got £50 to throw away in fuel especially after the fiesta has broken today

Better to make it for a coffee than not make it at all

Ahh, but that is only reaping the investment you have made so far with driving reward returns.
The fiesta stole from you every day with shallow promises of five seats (you only ever used one, sometimes two) and other shallow ford promises...

Some awesome roads today, thanks for organising the route.
After the drama gps took me on some tiny roads with no visibility so that was the end of the fun.
Hope the others got home fine. Maybe for the next run my car will be firing on all four cylinders all day!
(And no Toyotas were harmed in any way in the making of todays event)

Re: Northwest Cars & Coffee - 18 May
Was a really nice event. Shame the way it ended.
Mark has put together a little vid. There is a bit of a lack of an ending as he didn't do any more filming after the second stop.

Some great roads there, bit of a pity about being behind those two bikers, but it was a beautiful day and it was great to see everyone.

Re: Northwest Cars & Coffee - 18 May
Thanks to everyone for turning up for the meet and the drive. Given the weather and area, traffic was always going to be fairly heavy. It's a shame we were held up by bikers on the best two sections of road
I may try and sort a second run of the route, early one morning, with a smaller group. They're such great roads, it'd be good to have a clear run through them.
I'll dig the camera out at some point and see what photos I got.

I'll be in for that one - if you can do it in the near future.
