magnecore leads

i brought a set of magnacore leads of a fellow member. They need to go on a rev3 clip on dizzy cap but they are push fit. They are the correct leads for the car though. I think i remember a post saying they grind the edge of the terminals on the cap? I found a dizzy cap from my rev1 turbo and it has push terminals, looks the same can i use that?

Rev1 and Rev3 caps are different.

Rev1 has 7mm electrodes, Rev3 has 5mm electrodes. Leads obviously have to match.

The correct set for caps with clips come with matching clips. No need to vandalise the cap.
