My alarm range is pretty naff, I've changed the battery in the fob and still it's pretty poor. So I had a look at the alarm "brain", the ariel is a 4" piece of wire and I was wondering if I extended the ariel wire would the fob range improve?

Should do- as part of the dealer install instructions they ask you to tune the length of the aerial to achieve your desired range
