Hi guys and girls,
after a hunt for a nice cheap little sports car. i found myself coming across this. after looking at it decided to buy it. this weekend i took it for an MOT (knowing it was going to fail).
A few things wrong:
1. Front nearside anti roll bar linkage
2. Nearside front tyre has a bulge
3.Exhaust emissions lambda reading
4.Offside rear parking brake recording little or no effort
5. Parking brake efficiency below requirements.
and it also has the common rocker cover gasket leak. behind drivers seat in engine bay?
It is my first post. But wanted some advice on getting the right parts for the vehicle.

Welcome to IMOC.
Your faults are all usual faults linked purely to age or periods of non-use.
1. Droplink - cheap and easy to replace
2. Replace tyre
3. What were your emission test figures?
4 & 5. Will be a seized handbrake cable and/or caliper.
If you need any help with replacing my workshop is a few miles from Barnsley.

I remember that the O2 sensor on a Rev 2 NA is a PITA to swap, you have to get in underneath and feel for it. I don't remember how far down the pipe it is, though.
