(learning here guys bear with if I sound stupid! This is only my 3rd car and as a 22 year old I've never had to play with car engines before... I didn't really want to start now but there you go!)

hahaha, wasn''t having a go mate, was just messing, :thumleft:

Update!

The cam cover came off as the leak appeared to be coming from the seal... and a bolt fell out. Happy days, it looks like it hasn't rattled about in and around the camshaft or anything silly! Although it was probably about to.

Bolt tightened, back in, seals are fine -> no leak!

Will pressure test the engine anyway but it seems there's a bit of finger trouble here with the installation of the engine since it was a partially new/reconditioned unit. With the turbo feed pipe snapping in two as well leads me to believe that it wasn't installed 100% but whatever, I'm smiling!

Pressure testing tomorrow. Big thanks to Thomas & Beard garage in Newport for helping.

Whilst doing this work, also noticed that there's an engine mounting bolt missing and the exhaust mainfold is missing two bolts, looks like fine thread M10? Would this be correct? If so I'll be ordering some.

Engine mount bolt replaced :)

Still haven't got round to pressure testing. I don't think it even matters anymore but now I want to know (!)
