[Mk2] [NA] Coolant (AntiFreeze) which do I pick?

Hey guys,

So I am in the process of bleeding my 2, as she appear to have an air lock in the system, now the coolant in my system is green in colour.

I nipped into Halfords today to get some and was told that they dont do "the green stuff" only red/pink and blue.

So I am off to Euro Car Parts tomorrow to see if I can source some.

Now my question is, colour is not thing that defines a coolant but it is defined by the additives that is in it, how do I find out which coolant is compatible with the current coolant that I have in the system?

can anyone recommend any products?

toyotas long life red coolant isn't expensive, i bought 10l for something like £45 but that was pre mixed, you can buy concentrate for £25 for 5L

nobody on here used the "waterless coolant" yet?? seen it on wheeler dealers, was pretty impressed.

Just buy the 5l of halfords advanced coolant, much cheaper than the pre mixed toyota for life stuff.
