Well fit looking motor - feel free to post some more images.

I've got a Halfords' All-Season medium cover for about £60 in 'medium'. It's much better than you might think and is a great fit if you augment the built-in straps with a thin rope across the bottom of the windscreen. It's breathable and particularly watertight. If you adjust the straps properly, it will conceal your smart alloys a treat as well.

I'm sure there are better bespoke covers available but if you haven't got the time or money to hand the Halfords' effort is a decent compromise.

I keep thinking this is a Fiat Panda thread though.

Picked up some ramps the other day, well worth it really saves time for some jobs.

I had a go at a coolant flush, this is what came out! God knows when it was last done.

Only drained her from the front rad and drain bolts on the coolant pipes. The engine drain bolt isn't accessible behind the ac pump. I got new bolts for these as they are usually rusted and shear off. Part number below.

Cheers Chris, it's actually a pretty easy job just a little time consuming.

Took her for a spin today and she seems to have been bleed properly, it's pretty easy actually. I never attempted it on my mk2 as I believe they're a right pain.

Tucked her up for a while...

My intermittent setting wasnt working on my wipers and when you turned them off on the normal setting they wouldn't return to the bottom of the windscreen. So I found this guide http://www.padandwheels.com/mr2/wipersw ... witch.html and ordered a €5 soldering iron from eBay. I had a go at it today, and I'm delighted to say its now working perfectly. B)

Only one or two of my instrument bulbs worked so I ordered four 501 led bulbs. I stripped out the instrument cluster (handy guide here http://www.midshiprunabout.org/mk1/1099/ ) and I'm happy with the results. I can now see my rev counter at night.
