Hi,

The issue was with the clutch slave cylinder. The car had a new clutch fitted (Competition Clutch 6 Puk) and clutch slave cylinder at a cost of over £1000. There are no issues at all with the gearbox or clutch.

I may be back in the running for the purchase of this car, I will find out tomorrow for sure. What is the actual issue with the abs? And why is it not fixed even though you are selling the car?

You say in your advert that you have rear calipers, discs and pads. Are these included with the price or are they additional?

It could be an issue with with either the sensor or hub - it needs to be diagnosed.

Yes the parts to do the rear brakes will be included in the sale.

Give me a message later if you are intetested.

Regards
James.

If it hasn't been diagnosed then are you sure it's sensor/hub?

If it wasn't sensor/hub after being diagnosed, it could become rather expensive to fix.

Just checked an email from the guys who did the clutch. They have a feeling it could be the inner ring on the hub. I don't believe there is an issue with the sensor so it sounds like an issue with the recess in the hub.

Hopefully it would be the hub, that is the cheapest option right?

Things like ABS pump etc would be a lot more expensive to replace if the hub was not at fault

What kind of MPG would this car return in comparison to a 'normal' turbo?
