[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 3 Rebuild project - Help needed

Hi All,

I am currently putting back together a rev 3 turbo that had the engine swapped and was an unfinished project of the previous owner. Whilst I have a friend who also owned mr2's previously he is working from memory so we get stuck from time to time.

I have put some pics on a website showing our current problems and would be grateful for any forum help in resolving these issues and any that pop up as we go along.

Also if there is anyone in the Hull area with a turbo that is willing to pop round so we can have a look under the hood to help bring our memory back that would be great.

The pipe in 2nd pic attaches to the drain hose from the catch can.

The part in the 3rd pic looks like the turbo VSV, mounts under the inlet manifold:

going by the first imagine, you already have it installed
