just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

Still in the garage...

How do you get enough cool air to the engine if you close the whole underside off?!

I was going to fabricate some aluminium plat panels for the underside of mine but was planning to just leave the engine bay uncovered..

I'm not sure how effective it would be, but i personally wouldn't want to block air from below up into the engine bay in order to be a bit more streamlined.

I found a picture of the Border SW20 that demonstrates a bit of downforce / cooling / aerodynamics.

Here's mine I had custom made a few years ago. Purely cosmetic.

That is spot on! I'm still undecided whether to put on my border spats or not!

Do it. It fills that gap nicely. Also goes well with your sideskirts too!

I dunno, I still think just having a diffuser will look a lot better.

I've been reading this and tbh I love the rear diffuser look and I fancy trying to fab one however my biggest problem is I'm running a Nur Spec which sits down low. Anyone got any ideas or inspiration?

Would you not be able to trim around it?

I don't think there'd be much left after trimming
