Fancy camera, a few hours and a semi-pro togger'

Firstly want to make a bit of shoutout to a friend of mine who took the photos below and putting up with me badgering him to get it done.

If you like what you see, take the time to check out his flicker account, theres some more on there, including some awesome HDRs.

(I take absolutely no credit for anything below, all I did was drive. Credit where credit is due.)

As some of you know, I live in 'Sunny' Blackpool, besides today being fri88ing cold and a chilly crosswind its been clear and fresh, leaving a calm clear night, so a camera and a couple of hours drive was in order.

Got some right looks pulling up onto the prom, but the results speak for themselves. Fingers crossed the weather holds out for the illuminations run. :pray:

Get some awesome club shots.

Would imagine they were shot at quite a high ISO. The EXIF data isn't intact so cannot confirm specific details.

holy picture size batman, i'd recommend resizing for the forums.. nice shots tho!

Digital shots don't suffer from grain since grain refers to the visibility of the physically larger silver halide grains needed to make the old film coatings more light sensitive for the higher ISOs (or DIN or ASA or whatever you called them depending on where you were in the world) ... they suffer from 'noise'. This happens primarily in the darkest areas where red and green pixels sneak in amongst the darker shades due to the high sensitivity algorithms used in the processing structures...

Car looks good though and I like the shots...

Needs low ISO and longer shutter speeds for clean sharp gloriousness. 8)
