Its been a while since ive seen a identify my noise thread so im starting one lol
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
As of yesterday i have like a faint vibrating/whiring/crunchy noise i guess eminating from my gearbox
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Once in gear Its it all gears some a tiny bit louder than others or on idle
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
With clutch pressed

(completely dis engageing engine from gearbox) rolling at speed or stationary the noise is gone completely making me think it is gearbox related.

My question is me not fully understanding how gearboxes work
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Could this a bearing
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
? The clutch release bearing
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
? Or maybe something attached or near the gearbox that is vibrateing only when the gearbox is engaged

(hope its the last one lol)

Thanks
