I heard it's possible though.... heaven forbid there was an entire club dedicated to it, that would be cool.

Re: turbo or supercharger
Hi I'll try and be a little more helpful....
There was a supercharged version (import only) http://lmgtfy.com/?q=aw11+supercharger
Turbos have been done.
Twin chargers too.....
Engine swaps are also common. Lot of information on engine swaps here
http://www.twobrutal.co.uk/forum/
Oh and Paul Woods did my 190BHP 2zz conversion

Re: turbo or supercharger
You can't just bung a blower onto your existing engine though
The detonation would be fatal

Re: turbo or supercharger
any engine can be force inducted, but the expense, hassle and potential for disaster makes it a lot of work and barely worthwhile when you can do a transplant
Re: turbo or supercharger
i am in the process of sticking a compressor (most probably lysholm screw) to my 7rib bigport, 4AGE. the whole engine will be rebuilt using performance parts. i am not going to blow into stock engine.

Just stick an extra head gasket on, sorted.
Yes it has been done.

Yes - an SC piston set would be a more elegant solution
But to go that far would imply a fuller engine re-build I think

Re: turbo or supercharger
It hasn't stopped me rebuilding mine Sherwin and putting more power through it regardless of cost. Not 200hp granted but quite a few more than a stock n/a.
If you want alternate advice sign up to AE86.org as those boys like doing stuff like that to their 4AGES and don't resort to throwing other engines in all the time.

Re: turbo or supercharger
It's never worth considering tuning a 4AGE or 4AGZE on here. The only option is to fit the best engine in the world which is of course a 3SGTE.

Re: turbo or supercharger
I didn't say brainwashed or anything about 5k.
The fact they do more things to the 4AGE than here is what I found much more helpful.
If you ask anything about tuning the 4AGE on here all you get told is that its a waste of money and put the 3STGE in -
The OP did ask about supercharger or turboing the 4AGE afterall but hasn't received any information at all about doing either, only negative comments and all for swapping the engine out.
What if he wants to waste money doing what he wants to do?
