Re: 1994 rev3 TRD Widebody turbo build
Little update
I started repairing the sills last weekend in the spirit of doing as much woRk myself I got the angle grinder out and set to work removing the rotten bits they weren't that bad at all really for a 19 year old car I had to remove about 6" either side and the inner sill was fine .
I forgot to take pics there was a little bit in the rear arches too so that was removed . I started repairing the drivers side sill and that's as far as I've got so far ,
Pics to come

Re: 1994 rev3 TRD Widebody turbo build
I thought I'd make a start on the headlight surrounds today as at the moment I have a set of twin headlights made by Vampire they are great headlights but they are exposed to the elements
How they are now with stock surrounds
I cut 50mm out the middle and temporary fixed the two parts together (not aligned fully but it was just a test fit) they are perfect so I bonded the two parts back together and repeated on the n/s
A comparison of stock and a narrowed surround
With both surrounds narrowed I made a cardboard template for the lens cut outs
Then I transferred that to a piece of fibreglass I had
Then I bonded them in
I started to sand the O/S surround ready for a skim of filler , I've leaved them to set fully and continue later
That's it for today

Nice work Matt. If they don't make a solution, make a solution yourself
Re: 1994 rev3 TRD Widebody turbo build
Lights are looking good. Plenty of Work gone in there, you must be pretty chuffed.

Looking great, I can't wait to see those headlights completed
I wanted to do something similar with GTO headlights which I think are 7x4 no 7x6 but never got around to it
Can't wait to see more pics
Ps your car needs to be sprayed bright orange when it's done. I love orange cars.
