12"x3" seems to be the smaller size, which is the same width as an import :thumleft:

i want a import plate holder..but means drilling holes in the smoothed bumper lol..

have left the sticker plate on for now.

its funny how a numberplate can totally change the way the front of the car looks

Agreed :(

You could always stick the holder onto the front of the car. No holes but would possibly mark the paint if/when removed :-k

Tonight I made a start on another thing on the "To do" list. One that needs to be done become Le Mans, or we'll come unstuck. That job being fitting a 12v feed, as the Mule doesn't have one due to it being removed in favour of an S2000 starter button (which I never use...)

I had a good think about where the best place for it would be. I had thought about putting it in the little cubby next to the driver's knee, however it's not ideal. The glove box wouldn't work because I couldn't reach it if I was on my own. So I decided on the cubby box, as things charging could be kept in place en route. I don't like things moving around in the car, or rattles

So out with the cubby

Find a suitable location for it

It's good to have spares from Mule v1

Drill the hole. Thankfully I had a hole cutter which was exactly the right size. That never happens

Hole deburred it was time to cut a matching hole in the tunnel

Test fitting. Fits like a glove \:D/

Next up is wiring it in, but not tonight
