Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
Indeed.
So much going around in my head right now it's unbelievable!
I have however already got some rough prices on shipping a
car
over there.
.
.

On a separate note
- The mysterious warning light issue has been overcome, by swapping the LED back to a bulb.
I think my suspicions of the LED being too sensitive were right.
I've got LED lighting throughout the whole house
(as you'd expect
) and the GU10s in the kitchen always pick up residual power in the lines, even when off.

Just need to drill and tap those two sump bolts now.
Well, I need to source a tap and die first and then take some
'drill straight' pills

Re: The journey of one man and his Mule(s)
Not booked the MOT yet, as I wanted to to get the little jobs done first.
Hoping to have them done by this time next week, as I have some time to myself at night.

Today is a good day! The sun is shining, the sky is clear, the Mule's had a damn good bath and I'm somewhat in love with it again

Photos later

Bath time for a Mule
Seeing as it's been about 6 months since it was washed and I had some free time, I thought it about time to wash the old dog.
As you can see, it really was filthy.
By my standards at least

Due to the joys of having a fastback style engine cover I needed to take measures to ensure the essential bits stayed dry.
Enter some of the spare pond liner

Armed with an army of cleaning gear it was time to begin

I guess this is the equivalent of one of those photos of a cat in the bath

Engine stayed nice and dry, ready for a wipe later

All clean and happy it was time for a chat with his stablemate.
Note, that's BMW's idea of white.
.
.

The obligatory HDR style shot

Polished so hard the colour was washed away

Now to the inside.

No idea where the extension lead has gone, so it's time to improvise getting power to the vac

The view from the captain's seat

Job done
(both of them)

And this is why getting the paintwork touched up is somewhat of a massive PITA with this car

It's been good having the time to sit and bond with the car again, after all these cold and bleak months.
The love affair is back on.
Hopefully it's a cheaper date this year though

Here's to spring and the return of vitamin D

Tally ho

lovely job mate!

Setting the standard for Leman eh? My car is filthy in comparison to yours.
I don't do washing cars.

Not planning on doing any cleaning on the trip, other than a wipe down every now and then.

Planning on becoming a little cleaner when the T bar's finished?

I'm in Berry Hill, Mansfield side of Nottingham
(NG18).

Would be good to have a good look at that car of yours.
Shame I'm not MOT'd yet, although it will be soon

Most days are good with me too
