If you have a turbo you don't need to touch any of the inlet manifold stuff except the throttle body where you can generally get away with reusing the gasket, unless it's rusty.

The cam cover has 2 gaskets, one that goes around the edge and one in the centre for spark plugs 2 and 3.

There are 2 different kinds, rev1-2 and rev3-5.

The 10 bolts that hold the cam cover on have washers which are metal on 1 side and gasket on the other side.

These washers should be replaced just like any other rubber gasket as they distort and seal to the cover and bolts when they get hot.

Up to you whether you choose to replace the bolts or not

- they were only crosshead on rev1-2 so you can replace those with rev3-5 bolts if you want.

There is a small bit of RTV sealant you have to apply to the cam cover where the

'humps' for the cams are.

When you do the bolts up do them like you would do head bolts, i.e.

go round them in order uniformly tightening them a little at a time, until the gasket is suitably squished.

If you just do them up straight to specified torque from the workshop manual you will snap the lugs off the side of the cover.

The distributor controls ignition timing, so before you take it out you need to mark its position up with tippex or something so you can put it back in the same position, unless you have access to a timing gun in which case you can re-set the ignition timing from scratch when you put the distributor back on.

It has a single o-ring where its drive gear goes through to the inlet camshaft.

Again, available from Toyota, but you can use any old o-ring as long as it's the right diameter and thickness.
