Hopefully mine will later on this week, it's taking part in a charity rally and is covered in stickers and made to look like a Mitsubishi Zero (ish). I'm sure some will hate it but it's just a bit of fun. And in the process I've manage to save a tubby from the scrappers!

Got quite a bit off attention when I ran 13.3s at santapod & shakespeare county raceway as from outside the car looks stock. Very underestimated performance wise so tends to shock people not in the know. I find that people like the novelty of T-bar roof & pop up lights I still believe they look good especially when you think they're over 20 years old

Early for me to judge, but I had lights up yesterday in traffic in the day,and a kid grabbed his mum shouting 'wow, look at that car, have you seen where the lights are' made me smile as obviously pop-ups becoming less and less common since its quite a few years since anything was made with them.
Made my trip worthwhile seeing that kids excitement :-)

Yep, did get in my old one which was fairly stock looking, think they might have just been wondering WTF the air scoop was though.

Funny when I'm browsing for sale ads and got some ridiculously tacky kitted/modded 2's and they say it's a headturner, yeah cause it looks horrendous.

But yeah I could sit and look at a nice 2 all day too 8)

Even in a town full of caymans, 911s, push me pull you's and astons mine still gets comments, positive ones I mean before anybody quips. Everything else looks huge too...
Love the look of my car... silver mirrors now as well.

Gets a lot more attention than my generic MK5 Golf GTI, and mine's in a lot worse condition.

Yea especially ona day like this with the T - Bar roof glass removed!

Never had any unwanted police attention in my MR2 despite it being LOUD.

Loads in mine, but get that in my rusty civic daily too, both of them the cheapest cars I've ever bought and both get the most attention, I think some of it is older cars getting a lot rarer and new stuff all looks a bit generic...

The Nur Spec on mine certainly used to turn heads lol but it always got positive reactions when parked up etc, from people of all walks of life, not just kids etc :)

Truth be told, they're getting to be old and thus quite rare cars now, and they were never all that common anyways so they're bound to get some attention, if only the "I wonder what that is" kind :)
