How and where do you fill the mk2 rev2 turbo box with oil
How much and what gearbox oil do you use ;)

Its all in the BGB

Refill through the level plug on the side of the box, about 3L
Designer for turbo set ups on F1 cars, and Nitrous Oxide Systems of the USA in the 80s

Have a butane torch handy as my filler plug was stuck solid, and I'm sure you know this already, but make sure you can undo the filler before you drop the oil! Also have some hosepipe and a funnel handy, you have to feed the hosepipe down through the engine bay to the filler hole.

Also, redline MT-90 is considered the best replacement.

There is a filler cap directly on top of the gearbox (17 mm spanner fitment - looks exactly like the old level cap - fill it till it starts to come out of the level oil level hole.

That is not a filler cap and should not be removed as it keep one of the shafts in place

It works ok as long as you're really careful not to rotate the drive shafts while the plug is out, I use it to fill my oil up- but very very carefully :eye:

Oh- and it's a 21 not a 17 from memory :mrgreen:
