B-pillar bottom body panels

Post by George »

Hi everyone,

I've got some rust on the bottom of my B-pillar and looking for a repair.

I've found panels for the rear wheel arches, but not for the bottom of the B-pillar. Any hints?

Kind regards,

Joris

I can weld myself, the problem is that the forming requires some tools I don't have. Thats why I was looking for some proformed parts.

Repair panels are only for the radial arches and bottom corners.

A panel beater will be able to fabricate you a shape if you give him dimensions etc

I'm in the progres of importing my MR2, and had an appointment with belgian MOT today.

The hole islocated where the rear body panel meets the C-pillar and the sill panel. The rear body panel has a hole, about the size of 10 eurocents.
Apparantly the MOT guys didn't like the hole. They argumented it was in a structural part and assential for the vehicles strength, which it is not.

The car is at the welder now, hope he gets the job done :).
