Turbo convertion prices...?

As above,Just wondering what it would cost for a company to supply and fit a turbo lump in to my rev 5 ...?

Woodsport have got a package at the moment in the parts for sale and I am sure could fit or ship to SBits or Luke for them to fit.

Cheers guys it gives me something to aim for .....and i suppose a uk rev 5 with a turbo lump in will have some value in the years to come ...?

It is actually under discussion behind the scenes at present.

Historically, AIUI, it was allowed. Then a certain banned ex-trader turned every thread into a price war, and pricing by traders was forbidden. He has been gone for years, yet the ban is still in place.

So if you see traders saying "PM me for prices", there is nothing sinister going on. No dodgy dealings with prices, no stitch ups. It's just us traders abiding by the rules. O:)

I think traders should be allowed to give prices......

In terms of conversion cost a lot depends on the price of the engine and what's included.

The going price for an engine and ancils seems to start at about £1200 - spec, history, mileage dependant.
Labour to change is about a grand.
