No, assumed they wouldn't be required with brand new seals?

When I fitted new seals I removed the eccentric guides because it was such a good fit and didn't fit the glass seals and mine was perfect, no leaks or drips :)

Exactly, they are a real tight fit now I don't think that's the issue. Can't get my head around it :?
