As stated by greeny, proper engine management will make the most of your set up.

An aftermarket ECU is the single best modification you can do, at least until there's an option to work with the stock ECU. It really should be one of the first things on everybody's list when modifying a Toyota if you want to do it right IMO :)


The only time a replacement ECU would be needed is if larger than stock injectors are being fitted. The stock ECU is way better than any aftermarket one and will do everything needed as we have proven over the last two years in our race cars

No Bob, your race cars have to run on race fuel using the stock ECU. If you wish to run pump fuel, you would need an aftermarket ECU in order to control the timing to avoid knock.
