Is this shifter standard?

Post by snotrag »

As above. Is this a standard shifter or not, can anyone tell? I recall it being something different possibly when I bought the car.

There is a fair amount of slop in it, the nylon cup, and also the rose joints.

Is the Nylon cup replaceable? Where might one buy one?

(I haven't actually worked out any decent shops for all these kind of replacement parts yet...)

Many thanks.

Your a star. I'm just up the road between Leeds/Wakey.

I searched a while back for an 'sbits' website but found nothing, do you operate any kind of sales operation? Or just a garage/unit? I'd come down for a nosey round if so thats all. You did all the work for previous owner of the car. Its highly likely its getting a V6 soon.

Yes, it's standard.

Slightly related, also fitted were these (purchased from the fantastic Peter above):
