KYB dampers from Fensport are pretty cheap. KYB are also top quality.

Re: new suspension inserts !
make sure you get the right ones. Some ebay sellers have the rear dampers cheaper than others as they are not mr2 specific ones infact i think they are for a camary?? this results in quite firm damping at the front and a bit bouncy at the rear. Theres 2 rear options aswell one for the mk1a and the other the mk1b. I did have the part numbers somewhere but cant remember what i did with them!
4agte on the way
Re: new suspension inserts !
Get em from camskill. The cheapest non-ebay KYBs I have ever seen (they are cheaper from camskill including 20GBP postage, than any of the local suppliers can go for. And I am located in Slovakia...)
Also I am sure you cant go wrong fitment wise

Re: new suspension inserts !
I'm decided on camskill and those kyb excel-g shocks I'm gonna get a full set but before I order is it worth going for a full set of new springs also ,my cars only done 75k miles but is 26 years old , I'd like standard springs because the speed humps where I live are servere and at the moment the car clears them no problem ,or should I just shot blast my old springs and paint them in por-15

I thought the suspension on my 64k (at the time) Mk1b were fine until the front dampers failed the MOT.

Re: new suspension inserts !
If you can get other people interested you could suggest a Group Buy from a supplier.
I bought mine from Larkspeed for about £390 as there were 5 of us all getting a set!
They are adjustable and come with the springs though for what I paid.

Re: new suspension inserts !
What make of springs are they?
The only thing that goes through my mind is that the springs are worth £26 each corner - they don't shout quality, but if they do the job that you want them to do, i.e. replace existing, then happy days.
That website is handy though...can get some service bits for mine
