Toyota Atsral Black is just Black?

Hi,

I need to paint my front and rear bumpers on my 91 mk2 turbo.

It's black, which supposedyk is code 202 or Astral Black.

This is rubbish right? Black is black, i can use any black. Has anyone done this? Did anything match well?

well black is black, there is not other type of black.

They should of called it grey, astral grey.

there is metallic, pearlescent, gloss, matte black. some with more 'flakes' in so it looks a lighter shade. go ahead and paint it using what you want but i garentee you will regret not using the right colour

When i was mixing the white for my impreza i had to add black,blue,red,yellow and i think orange or brown

I have just two toned my mr2 and went to a local paint factors to get a Toyota black, he said which black?

Went with 202 but this was a metallic

Even funnier i was in Halfords and spoke to a kid behind the parts desk, can ya make me up a litre of black paint?

Sorry we don't sell black paint, almost wet myself
