[Mk2] [Turbo] help to identify outlet on cylinder head

Can any one tell me what the outlet on the cylinder head is under the inlet manifold nut and what goes on it

Not 100% but I think it's for the catch can return.

..the only thing I can promise for sure is slow progress.

May 2015
just have this niggling thought that if I rip out the wiring, then the car will never get out of the garage again.

Still in the garage...
