[Mk2] [Turbo] Water Temperature Rev2 Turbo

Post by chevy »

Hi Everyone.

I have only had my turbo a week now but it had a hole in one of the pipes and the temp sensor was not working.

I have now fixed both these problems and also bled the system for and hour and a half with the front bleeds slightly open and clear pipes on to see the water level until no more air was coming through.

I was just wondering as i dont know how hot it should run if i have a problem. Whilst bleeding it, it did run hot but the fan always kicked it in and cooled it down. However this morning and also after work both cold starts the temp rose to the middle of the gauge after about 2 mins also when i park up (engine off but key in) the temperature seems to drop quickly is this normal or do i have a fault.

Many Thanks
