I'm looking now in a pictures at googe and seems like I was wrong :) Probably all CTs have doble wastegate ports. Maybe I saw some hybrid or something with one port.

I think you're referring to the twin-scroll design of the turbo. Each port is fed by 2 of the 4 cylinders.

I was refering to this kind of turbo :)

I probably saw one time this kind of turbo saying that it's CT20 so was wrong.

OK, long time with no updates :)

Now I have some, unfortunately still no photos...
Sometimes I really like Lithuanian prices :D One guy sold me brand new targa rubbers for less than 50gbp. He bought them for himself from Toyota dealer, but did not fit them (sold the car or whatever), so I was so glad with this deal!

Now not such a good thing. Last week my gearbox cable broke, so I had to drive through the city with a second gear (I put in manually with a links on a gearbox) with a ceramic clutch and that was horrible!
Then, next day... It was raining, didn't see a pothole, a huge pothole and I hit it! With my R18 5zigen with 215/35 tire on front... I was really amazed as tire survived (++ for Avon ZZ3) looking at the wheel which has a big bend on a lip (but still driveable and not leaking). And that's why I meantioned Lithuanian roads in one topic (about oil press sensor location as I remember) :)

So for this time, only a video from yesterday's event. It was a great fun to drive and managed to take 1st place in RWD, but unfortunately nothing in Open class as I made a mistakes in both runs. And you will see everything in a video :)

Thanks Phil!
It was a long and difficult time to learn to drive it well, but now I really enjoy it :)
I hope my next season will more interesting as I will be taken to a team and hopefully will get a teacher. Now I am driving only from my own practice... And you can see that I still do a lot of mistakes, even on braking (in last two runs). I wanted to make a better time, but it happend vice versa :D

How does the car handle at higher speeds? I find mine feels light at the front end once you get around 70mph and it's next on my list of areas to research. I have a BMW 1 series too and it feels far more balanced at speed than the '2

Well... I don't have what to compare with, but yes, I also feel that sometimes my front is not as stable as I'd like to. But also I haven't done an alignement for about two or more years and the one that I did, was for street use, so I suppose that racing alignement would help a bit. Also, I think corner weighting with coilovers would help, because now my front of the car looks a bit higher than rear when it should be otherwise as I understand.

After fitting speed flaps, I think it helped, you shoud try it also as it's very cheap and easy mod if you dont plan to buy original flaps from toyota (which I think is a waste of money).

During the winter time I am planning to work with aerodynamics a bit doing a hole in a hood and front panel for the air flow from the front of a car through the front panel. Like this:

pretty sure this is the same as the old supras turbo. it is a CT26, but different, the flange looks the same (or very similar)as the supra, it's also not a twin scroll :(

Small jobs are usually forgotten :)
No, I used some old car bumper to cut the flaps from

So the works began. Preparing for upcoming season. Working on to get some more downforce.
Here I am making a model for a wing stand.

Now the dawing is done and sent for cutting with plasma. It will cost only 15gbp for two pieces.
Here's how it'll look like:

Spoiler will also have angle adjustability.

Nice work Lukas. I'll be interested to see what the end product looks like :thumleft:

What other aero mods do you have planned?

Thanks :) I hope it will be nice and more importantly - effective.
Today have bought some alloy. 350x350x15mm (5kg) costed me ~17gbp.
Now it's time to give it for cutting.

My plans for this season - this spoiler and front splitter. Wanted to do a vented bonnet also, but I'm afraid I will have not enough time.

BTW, for a wing have to say BIG thanks for DCW: http://www.facebook.com/DogCustomWorks?ref=ts&fref=ts

Finally the spoiler stands are cut. Still some smoothening is needed as it was cut by a plasma, not with a laser. But for 10 pounds I'm totally happy :)

Hoho, some work done during this weekend. :)

I hope the spoiler will do the work.
Still the painting left and repair the holes in trunk that water would not come in :) Also, I will have to cut sides for the spoiler and it's done. All the bols will be changed to new ones, of course :thumleft:

I will test it next Saturday on a track day.

I thought you'd been quiet for a while

I'm keen to hear what difference the spoiler makes :)

Yes, the winter was not productive at all :)

Now works will start.

I will change g-box oil to redline MT-90, because I have some issues with gear change on high rpm.

Also, last weekend I change a couple of engine mounts, because there was still N/A mounts installed. So it should also help with gear changing and I hope the wheels will not shake when skidding...

What's more, I plan to change master brake cylinder from a turbo model and also clutch pedal. At the same time I will replace brake fluid for ATE super blue racing.

The last work to do wheel alignement.

And I have to do this untill Saturday #-o
