Aeromotive FPR setting up?

Post by Owen @ Kent Car Craft »

Just a quick question for you guys, its probably going to seem real stupid but..
I have a box of piping and an aeromotive FPR boxed up in the boot of my car,i was wondering if anyone coud quickly draw a simple diagram in a paint program to show me where it needs to be plumbed in as i've seen different ways/routing of fuel piping to aftermarket FPR's.
Thanks in advance BTW,i'm probably going to mount it on the bulkhead of the trunk/boot.
I have a dual feed rail by the way,(can anyone help me set it up visually?)
I have searched also, but not much info on the dual feed idea (diagrams especially)
But secondly,is it mandatory to run a dual ffed rail.
Xxxx,Andy F?what are you using?
Thanks Owen

Hi Owen
Im using the HKS rev3 fuel rail and HKS FPR
basicaly just put the FPR in the ruturn side of the fuel line
then if its a rising rate jobby attach a vacuum pipe from the plenum
to the top of FPR.......sorted mate

Oh i would put a fuel preasure gauge in the system too, you want to
be at 3 bar

Hi

Sorry to hi-jack your thread..... but Andy... did you notice any differences when you put the FPR on?

I also have a Automotive FPR in a box awaiting fitment..... also was the 3bar the standard fuel pressure? or a recommendation regarding you modifications / boost level?

To be honest mate, i did a complete build so never had the FPR before
so no comparison.

The 3 bar setting is a good base setting, recommended by Fraser Maceller
So take it as right
