Post by Blue_2 »

Hey

The cable that controls my heater control valve has jammed stuck, so only get cold air at the moment.

Guess iam going to need a new one, does anyone know the part number for it?

Also is it a big job to replace? any how to's?

Cheers for reading

Don't buy a new one, plenty of good s/h units around. Easy enough to replace.

Before you go dismantling, just unhook the cable from the heater valve under the frunk, and move the heater valve lever by hand to ensure it's not a valve issue.

Does anyone know if you can get to the other end of this cable without removing the dash?

You will have to remove the ashtray and centre dash panel. Then you can unscrew the heater control panel and pull it forwards to get at the cable end.

I had this and it turned out that there were some cables stopping it from moving.
