[Mk2] [Generic] TOM'S Bucket Seat fitment... What rail?

Post by CardHore »

I know I know.... 'Where and how did he get that?!'

... Moving on

It has side mounts attached as pictured...

Can anyone tell me what seat rails I need to buy to fit this onto?

i.e Bride, Recaro, Corbeau, Sparco etc?

Being such a rare item I cant find any info on it and I dont think this was even made by any other manufacturer on behalf of TOM'S.

Sparco have in the past made bucket seats for TOM'S which I had an opportunity to buy recently but they were gonna cost mega money once delivered halfway across the globe.

Any help will be appreciated.... :thumleft:

Could you cut the rails off the standard seats and use those, I've heard people doing that with aftermarket seats before ?

Great seats btw 8)

The rail that's on it looks very similar to the Bride FO-Type

The side mountings are not designed to be mounted on rails, they bolt direct to the floor. You will find they are going to be way too high if on rails
