Side Skirt Trim

Post by Hoylake_AW11 »

Hi all

Well another post towards my newbie learning experience. I've tried a search about replacing the rubber seal on the side skirts and see that double glazing seal is recommended. Is this the stuff required?

Sorry - cant link directly apparently as not up to 15 posts yet

I'm placing a big order tonight. Shipping would work out cheaper if included with my order. PM me if you want me to order a kit.

Thats great. Just spraying up a front quarter panel today so that will be good timing to fit the new parts. If you could let me know when it arrives then please Peter - i'll send payment and details.

Cheers

Double-glazed

Post by ulysess1966 »

I've just received 5 metres of black P-section double-glazing rubber trim in the post today thanks to eBay.

Now, what am I supposed to do with it :)

Is the idea to glue it on or use the self-adhesive tape that's already on it? I was thinking of glue so that the round part of the 'P' would be along the top edge of the plastic trim.
