If you want to keep it simple, get a CT20b fitted. Much better boosting to redline (night and day from the CT26).

There is also the CT27 upgrade. Similar power levels to the CT20b.

CT20b is the obvious and cheapest upgrade. Also consider a hybrid CT26

What is your budget?

I was thinking about the ct20b but it is a rather old unit now so I would need to add the cost of a rebuild on top of the cost of the unit as well

Why would you want less performance?

Because a Hybrid Stage 2/3 CT26 will out perform a CT20b Plus the Hybrids dont have the Ceramic shaft which tend to snap on the CT20b's

I'll agree the ct20b can be fragile when aged and if you are ragging on it.

A hybrid ct26 will not outperform even a stock ct20b though. When you can push 365rwhp from a hybrid ct26 I'll eat my hat.

Many turbo builders claim big numbers from the ct26 hybrids. The only one I have ever seen even with some performance, was Mark Edwards car. Which needed a fully built motor to handle the 1.6 bar it needed to trap 111mph in the 1/4 mile and lay down a measly 280rwhp.

Im guessing his only got a Stage 1 turbo fitted if his only putting out them sort of fugures.

Who has got 365bhp out of a CT20b?
