front drop links

Post by sideways247 »

Bought some cheap drop links off ebay about 6months ago, one side has already started knocking.

What better quality ones are there to buy?

You paid around 200 of your hard earned quids just for a set of droplinks Alex

If I change mine I'll go rosejoints

£154 actually Peter, but I did have my koni adjustables fitted at the same time so I wasn't going to buy crap quality drop links considering I had just spent £500 on suspension. I also bought genuine toyota ball joints and track rods all round. I had it done properly and it's lasted without any issues.

My Toyota drop links have lasted 4 years and gone through 100k miles - worth their money if you ask me and you'd be retarded to disagree.

sideways247 - if you want them to last, buy from Toyota - Peter likes to use poor quality / cheap goods.

Rosejointed links will last about 5 minutes.

Fit the Toyota ones and you can forget about them. I bought OEM droplinks, I used them on three cars over 5 years.

Naaa, I'll just knock up some custom ones. I doubt BC would care much.

Remember my car does minimal mileage Lauren :)

I know where to get some good joints (with covers)

Will make up rods/tubes to suit

Paul was merely taking the micky out of you Peter, talking about smoking weed on a public forum which children could read is immoral imo
