Another Update!

Firstly, it's my Birthday today! 32 years young! WOOHOO!!!

Secondly, I had the day off work and have dropped the car off at a bodyshop place to have a new sill fitted! Then, hopefully sometime this weekend, I am getting it MOT'd, so FORGET the bargain, giveaway asking price in my last post as I've got my sensible head back on.

Piston Heads seems the way forward so I'm gona keep riding this wave of enthusiasm (and possibly old age mental issues) and get those friggin pics taken and create the ad...hopefully at the weekend!

Oh my, this sale has been fun n' games! Ha!

happy birthday mate, maybe a set of rev3 rear lights would aid the sale, it's amazing how something little can help in such a way... :-k

hope you have a good one :thumleft:

Gotta say Gary, that car is such a sleeper.

It must be a great feeling when some numpty in err... well, basically anything, tries it on...

Best of luck with the sale fella. If I had the money, I'd have it off you in a heartbeat.

Wow!! Almost 3 years??!! Seriously??!! :pale:

Well hello everyone! It's been a wee while, I know, but I'm really chuffed to see that this place is rocking just as much as the old days!! MR2s will always be cool, eh! 8)

Anyway, back to the case in hand. She's up for sale again, but with the following extras:

1. 11 months MOT!!

2. Mapped!! (with a dying clutch! The mapper was VERY happy with the engine. It didn't miss a beat and was sweet as a nut! I'm not surprised, though, as Chris H is a braw laddie! We went WELL above 1 bar during the map, but that's what we've set it at with a wee manual valve. I've not had it in the hands of a mapper since fitting the new clutch and feel that would be a good idea as it was a very difficult session!)

3. A very capable Exedy clutch and flywheel (bought from a guy who was building a 600bhp toy, but gave up.)

4+. A smashed toblerone, a scuff/scratch on the front bumper, some plant life from it sitting about and a coupla hundred more miles on the clock. I'd probably put new front tyres on too, but they're still legal.

She's been in the very capable hands of a friend (who will no doubt make himself known at some point!) for most of the time. I feel he secretly loves her, but he, along with lots of other people, are pushing me to once again offer her off to some lucky begger that will use her like she loves and wants to be used.

I'd like to take this opportunity to once again thank all the people that have helped me with the car (yous know who yous are) and everything else. Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

Offers only by PM folks. That doesn't mean asking me how much I want for it. It means make me an offer. I still have to be a wee bitty awkward!

F*ck I'm gonna be 35 next week! I was only a kid when I first posted this! :| Jeeeso. :D Old age clearly hasn't stopped me babbling on, eh! Ha!

Wow, 3 pages and price mentioned only once.
As per forum rules, all sale ads require the asking price.
Thanks.

Hello!

Nope, sorry, but the car looks like it does on all the other pics bar a scuff/scratch about 4" squared on the front bumper next to the number plate (it'll probably t-cut out quite well, actually, but not tried yet) and a cracked toblerone indicator on the near side (which I will probably replace shortly anyway!).

Bloody Hell!!! The first time I come back on here in an age, and my old mucker Gary is selling up!

SOMEONE BUY THIS MOTOR BEFORE I DO!!!

Hope your well G. Lovely to see pics of your car bud. I've been out of this scene for too long. I'd love another one, and very well may do in the future. Just a shame you're selling up now.

Welcome back :thumleft:

Nice car and good luck with the sale but if you're still after the sort of money you were originally asking before then I hate to say it but with the way the second hand MR2 market is these days you'd probably only see that sort of money by breaking it :( Perhaps giving some idea of the sort of money you're wanting would help with the sale :thumleft:
