FOR SALE! 2000 V Rev5 Turbo Deposit taken. SOLD To Stuart.

Post by Chris »

Hi all,

Due to wanting to buy another ramp ect for my garage, I am thinking of selling my converted Rev 5 turbo

It's a 2000 V plate UK Rev 5. Converted using a 60k miles rear clip. Running standard boost.

You will not find a cleaner MK2. The car is near mint. I have spent an awful lot of time and money on this car.

Spec includes,

Full black leather,
Whiteline front and rear ARB's and poly bushes.
A MINT Apexi GT Spec exhaust.
HKS SSQV.
Uprated IC (Generic Greddy copy).
Fully refurbished Enkei RP01's, staggered 16" wheels.
Brand new Tein spring kit,
Apexi intake.
Zinc coated CRN brakes front and rear.
Clear indicators,
TRD Stat.
ETC...
This car is rust free. The best I could find. It now handles amazing and looks great. I will put a full MOT on the car for the new owner,

Just thinking...

I put 205/50/16 tyres on the front, these are brand new! I was going to put 245/45/16 on the rear, but at the min she has 225/40/16s on the back.

Both T bar bags are in the car. :thumleft:

I also have a turbo engine cover for the car, but never fitted it. It needs painting as it's steel grey.

The car is now FOR SALE.

Offers will be considered for a quick sale. :thumleft:

Just want to say went to see this and it is absolutely immaculate.
I would have had no hesitation in buying and paying the price asked, it was well worth it. Chris is also a nice bloke and long known to IMOC :thumleft:

I just got offered something rare at the last minute else it would've been mine, good luck on the sale Chris.

very tempted!
one question: what's the deal with insurance on this? being as its got an engine transplant? will I get stung or find it difficult to insure?
I'm 36 full no claims etc but my last modded turbo was stinging me for £700

also I'm in Southampton so would be difficult to view
I don't doubt it's a minter being as its from Chris and toni's given it the thumbs up I'd just like to know if there's any of the things that irritated me on the last one like brake calliper steering judder at 80mph?
and what's the coolant like? any rust in it?
and does the temp gauge hold solid at the usual just under halfway?
and has it got the standard CAT fitted for mot's or is there a decat on it?
and any scrub / arch contact with tyres as its lowered?
and has it got a delimiter on it and is it fitted with turbo clocks with the mph reading correctly?
and has it got the e153 turbo gearbox with LSD?
mark

Get a quote from Sky, I checked with them and transplants are no different to factory turbos. :thumleft:

Cheers Toni, can't believe a Mica Orange T bar came up for sale the night you viewed my car

Mark,

The car has the UK Rev 5 clocks fitted still so delimited by them.
it has an E153 Gearbox as expected.
No sticking calipers, has a brand new rear and pads due to one sticking..
There is contact on the inner front wing guards on full lock due to the 205/50/16 tyre choice, if it had 205/45's it would be fine. No contact on rears or to any arches.
Standard CAT is still fitted for MOT time.
Coolant is brand new, as iis the TRD stat fitted. The temp is spot on.

Only niggles as pointed out to Toni are I need to get some new keys cut due to removing the transponder from them for the guy who bought the original Rev 5 engine clip. This will be done before sale though.

Wierd my old rev3 turbo conversion had the uk clocks and still hit the speed limiter on the dyno. Have been told its the ecu not the clocks.

Realy nice car tho, if I hadnt just bought another tubby I would have been all over this. :thumleft:
