Gear selecter cable.

Post by rover19376 »

Great ,Bank holiday and i snap a gear select cable heading to work!

Can you still get gear select cables new? and how much could it sting me ?

On the look out for a cable near to me, this would be the 2nd time i snapped the gear cable - thinking about taking the gear stick out and good clean and re-grease the workings and bit of gear box oil down the cable itself, and have a little play with adjustment.

Anything else i should consider?

Cant help you with the cause or the fix, but I have some used gear selector cables from a rev2 turbo that would be collectable from loughborough in about a week if that interests you
