Johnny G wrote:It's a lovely car, but you have to realistic I think.

1). It's 17 years old
2). People are cutting back hugely on expenditures.
3). It's a buyers market out there.

I don't think in the current market it's worth that money. Not to say it won't be in the future, but like all cars at all times, it's only worth what someone will pay for it.

When valuing your own car, it's always hard, as there's nearly always some emotive reasoning rather than cold, hard facts.

Good luck with the sale though, the eventual buyer will get a very nice looking car (just do a rev 3 rear light conversion though!).

Hi Johnny
Yes, it is a buyer's market, but try and find one in this condition and spec!
I'm afraid I can't agree with you about the rear lights. I think the Rev 6 looks a lot better than the Rev 3, especially when they are lit up.
Thanks for your reply, regards,

Our trd was mint, the paintwork was amazing and we had the proper offset wheels. Whoever buys your TRD will need to spend £1k on proper fitting wheels.

We sold our TRD and bought a 2004 WRX with a charge speed bodykit for £4800. People will be looking at what else they can buy for their money.

The problem is there are very few people out there who know what a TRD is, and even fewer who would buy one. Its such a limited market, and with the economy like it is, used cars have been hit hard, its just a nightmare.

If you want to sell, be prepared to drop your price, we wanted £6k and ended up selling for £4,100. OR keep it.

My advice, get some nice wheels, and keep it. 8)
