What sort of performance do you get with 240bhp at 10k rpm?

Not as much in an MR2 as in a Formula Atlantic car I think Alex :)

Wouldn't mind that pretty little motor in my car though

Tbh I've not heard of anyone putting an Atlantic engine into an MR2, but it has been done to an AE86 a few times.

He needs to work on his Apex's, :)

I think it is likely the thing you'd really notice is the smoothness of the power delivery and the ability to rev the nuts off it. :mrgreen:

I can't imagine the power delivery will be very smooth at all. An engine with that kind of specific power output is going to be very peaky with a very narrow power band.

The main thing you'd probably notice is that your gearing is all wrong unless you'd spent $$$ on a custom set of ratios to go with it. :p

Possibly a fair comment on the gearing, LOL.

The vid looked very smooth throughout the range to me though!
