[Mk2] [Generic] Replacement Sub
Have had a new headunit wired up to new front speakers and using original tweeters and rears, however want a little bit more bas without losing any space in the car. New unit has a sub out port I think, is there something that will fit in the old sub box behind passenger seat and just wire up to the head unit?...
Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Replacement Sub
One of these would do the job. Might be larger than what you are looking for but this sits nicely behind the seats.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Replacement Sub
Cheers chap, maybe go this way, was hoping to keep it looking retro and get something that fitted in the original space...

I tried some Focal Utopia 5 inch subs in mine but they never really gave the deep bass of a proper 10 inch sub in triangular box

Proably enough for me though, not wanting a banging system just something with a bit more bass, you still have them?...
