my speeddo only goes up to 120 mph ive been given one that goes to 180 mph, i kmow that it fits straight in but will it give the right speed or do i need to fit another part to it,
please help

it seems you have a import speedo with the 120mph facia fitted onto the 180kph clocks..
now question is are you changing the whole unit or just the clock facia..
if its a rev 1 then its cable driven speedo, so you might struggle fitting the 180mph clock.. but if its a rev2 upwards and the speedo is electronic then you might find a small speedo converter chip fitted behind the clocks, in this case , fit your 180mph clock and remove the chip..
if its just the speedo facia then it will read wrong if you just replace the 120mph facia with the 180 mph item,.. hope that makes sense

It's a rev 1 with cable and I'm only replacing the face. I've got a 180mph cable clock and it fits but it not going to do the right speed is there a cog I can get to convert it
