I'm sure I'be seen those photos before. Has this one done the rounds on here previously? It looks very very good and if is all it appears and claims to be then that's a good price IMO.

I'm toying with the idea of this or a Pug 106 Rallye (I've had both).
I want something as an everyday practical classic you see.

It 'sold' on Ebay about a week ago, IIRC. Does look good.

Does look in very nice condition.

Price is pretty high, but it does look to be very well kept.

Talk about sales spiel, though... 0-60 in 7.2, yeah right. But anyways still very much worth a look and around the 2.5K-ish mark a good buy indeed if it is as solid as it looks in the pics. :+:

It is very nice, but there is a stain on the drivers side rear mudflap which looks like a rust dribble...Could have bought a new rear number plate too.

Leather seats are in fantastic nick though :thumleft:

lol....cheers.
They've got a Z3 2.8 that looks ok but the rear bumper gaps do not line up well so am guessing it's had a rear end shunt.

It would have been an awfully long way to go to be disappointed and their description of the MR2 was a bit extreme. 0-60 in 7.2 secs.
He'd obviously been ragging the cr*p out of it.

Limiter kicks in at 7599rpm. Rev counters are a bit like speedos they over-read.

To get to 9K, just drop it into second at about 70mph. :+:

+1 to that: they're deliberately aloof, and then overly verbose, all to "suit" the car they're selling. I went there to look at something else, I could have punched him for the wholly inaccurate downright untruthful advert.

Interesting - maybe when it sold on Ebay, the lucky winner wasn't happy when he went to collect?

I've been in that situation a few times. Most recently from Dunstable to Eastbourne last year for an Integra viewing.
Could have smacked him one but at least my money stayed safe. In the end the said car sold for near £1500 less than his asking price.

Craig, the Pistonheads website has been updated since the post was made.
You'd need to search from scratch.
