Looks nice mate. :thumleft:
I love the black roof.
Did you get that done yourself?

I am looking to do this to my Red N/A so wondered how much it would cost being a relatively small area. :-k

No sorry, i bought it like that from Grayboy of here, does look loads better tho makes the T-bar a smoother look as normaly people say it brakes up the lines of the car.

Cant be that much tho prob £300ish i reckon

Thanks tho :thumleft:

More 2 be fitted soon, new front lip, EMS boost gauge, speedhut dials, oil temp sesnor, just had a full service at Rogue. And about to have a claybar session now :D

I like the look of the oil filter kit. Bit exposed though isn't it?

A rogue speedhump could rip that off!

Was for easier change and able to get better reading from oil temps as not much heat soak as an adapter plate.

But i later removed this and its back to its original position now, after reading a thread about extra pressure on the oil pump from increased fluid, so binned it.

Still havn't got an adapter plate...

Gauges just sitting in my room now ](*,)

A few small bits i ordered to finish off my CC setup, swirl pot from GT4 CC which i received today from gazrev1tubby and new LCD temp monitor, with thermocouple sensor.

Plan is to machine out the ashtray tomorrow at work and fit the LCD screen so only the red screen shows instead of the grey surround, and then i'll wire it up at the weekend.

12V power supply reason i bought it, should be easy to install :D

Going to de-rust the swirl pot bracket and repaint it, try tart up the plastic swirl pot and fit this at the weekend also.

Pics of bits

Nice car/progress fella, and nice job with the ash tray temp reading. Looks well done.

What's the refresh rate on the temp display?

Hi, thanks for comment :)

I didn't manage to fully install it at the weekend, as I've been having issues with sensor location, currently doing a bodge installation in the old AC idle up valve pipe with some silicone sealant....

I did test the screen out and the temp changes were fast but not as fast as a proper stepper gauge, from what it seemed it gradually went up in temp fast, but i was only using a 60watt bulb so it wasn't a real sudden temperature change.

Edit: Think im just going to drill a hole into the rubber sock, and insert the thermocouple there instead, then seal it off with some silicone sealant

I'll put up a full write up when it's fully installed, try and put a video on here as well.

So finaly fully installed my Inlet temp display, very happy with it so far!

Finished pic of instalation, temp reading after test run back at home.

Now i did take a short video showing inlet temps, but it doesnt seem to have saved on my phone :(

Average temp cruising around town was about 37, had it as low as 31 on full boost down a country lane, and as high as 45 when i changed gear between high boost or just after boost.

At 40mph in 3rd 2500ish rpm temp was reading constant 36 i think

Thankyou :thumleft:

I will try and take another video for you, and upload it so you can see the refresh rate for yourself, it isn't instant like how i'm guessing my next idea is....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 150wt_1401

Wondering if i could link that up to my LED screen!

Cool :thumleft:

Like those spa intercooler gauges! Refresh rate is about 4 times a second using a thermocouple :thumleft:
