might be getting a rev2 turbo that needs a little tlc. its stock apart from alloys and exhaust. i think around 70k miles. will have 6 months tax and 12months mot when i sell.
how much should i advertise for? is 1800 too low?
My mate just picked up a low mileage REV3 for £1850 which was completely standard. £1800 for a standard REV2 in need of TLC is over priced. Whats sort of TLC does it need?
is it ahh right lol.
needs alternator, radiator and possibly aircon pump. might give it a miss then. its one that has come into work as a part ex so i thought about restoring it to the road but i think i would loose out. shame cos bodywork is mint and interior has been re-done
alternator £55 for reconditioning old one, rad another £30-50 for used one, don't bother with the air con as hardly any REV 1/2's work
If you can get it at the right price you could make a bit of money.
What price is your company looking for it?
trade price is about 500 for one of those so if you dont pick it up for that, i wouldnt bother. there's a decent rev3 turbo on pistonheads at the mo for 1150
