I've just installed this sensor, not got round to testing it yet.

I took a datalog of the stock sensor as measured by the ECU, it takes over 8 seconds for the sensor to start registering a rise in temperature even at full throttle and 1 bar of boost

Below is a graph of the data, black is the manifold air temp, orange is intake air temp, light blue throttle & purple manifold pressure (boost). Ignore the actual values, at the time I hadn't worked out the conversion from ECU value to centigrade.

The stock sensor seems to only manage to measure the temperature of the manifold itself rather than the air flowing through it!

I have one of these sensors on my build.

Very good piece of kit and well worth the few £.

100% agree with the feeback aswell

I also got one of these for my build. Big thanks to Jim for the heads up as it would appear to be a very worthwhile upgrade :thumleft:

Interested in seeing Jon's test results.

Any Source for it?

Only option for Datalog with stock ECU, would be replace Cold Startinjector with it, and gauging there, other ideas?

His E-Bay shop is http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/fennedevelopments

He hasn't sold any since last Sept, but it might be worth sending him a message?

After a bit of investigating, it looks like the sensors are made by Sagem for Triumph.

Fenne Developments were adding a thread adaptor to make the thread same as the stock sensor.
