Its funny you should say that, her first one will probably be shelsley walsh! I'm there in 2 weeks time as well in this:

Going to search out a Safety Devices cage. Gave them a ring today but it would appear that their lunch break coincidentally clashes with my lunch break ;)

Any more thoughts on the suspension situation? My current plan is to lower the strut 1.5" within the mounting bracket and convert to coilovers with 200lb front and 275lb rears (already got whiteline ARBs). I will initially use the 2000 mile KYBs currently on their but move to adjustable Koni inserts if necessary. Having looked at the reviews it would appear that BCs mask inadequate damping with very heavy spring rates and the D2s just fall apart.

i thought i read recently that Dr Wilkinson was selling some leda struts and maybe a roll cage. Might pay to look in the for sale section

Roll cage - speak to Andy Robinson Racecars http://www.robinson-race-cars.co.uk/ since you aren't too far away, they are based near Basingstoke on the Reading road.

They produce some of the best roll cages and fabrication you'll ever see. Strong enough to barrel roll at 210mph on a drag strip (theres even a video on his website lol).

They aren't overly expensive for what you get either (FIA standard). You can probably get cheaper, but not worth cutting corners on something so important. A bad roll cage is more dangerous than no roll cage at all.

Suspension, I wouldn't touch anything Taiwanese (BC Racing are Taiwanese). It's hard to beat Koni for the money, and if you are bent on having "coilover" spring height adjustment then you can do that with ground control sleeves or similar. I wouldn't bother with Leda either, Koni inserts are far better from a damping perspective. Unless you can stretch to Ohlins money and do it properly then just stick with the Koni options.

I hadn't thought about AR! Our FS car chassis was made there so I could see if I could get a bit of a deal.

I like the idea of the FIA tested Security Devices though because it doesn't have to be made from the same heavy weight tube as an MSA reg one and is (obviously) tested.
