Hopefully someone can help me with this problem.I have rev 3 turbo which has been running perfectly until yesterday. The car started without problem, then I noticed the warning lights shown in the photos were on and after a short run the battery went flat.
I swapped over the battery from the auto, and the lights stayed on,so I guess the problem is not the battery.I have checked all the connections and fuses to no avail.
Any ideas guys.

i'm sure these lights means the alternator is goosed or the belt is knackered

Way to test if your not charging is to connect voltmeter up to the battery and see if your getting around 13.6 - 14 volts when car is running. If your getting reading below this i would say then you either have a broken wire in the charging system or the alternator is gone.
If it is the alternator get a reconditioned one as they are a pain in ass to fit.

+1 for the alternator.
Afternoons work, if you don't have a standard exaust system.

Ok replaced the alternator today, easy enough job once the exhaust was removed. Also replaced all the droplinks ,refurbed all 4 calipers, fitted Hel brake lines and installed red stuff brake pads - not a bad days work
