I was asked this question and to my embarrassment i did not have the answer.
what engine do i have? 3SGE or 3SFE or a SW20. how do i check?

do you have a spoiler? do you have front fog lights? post a pic of the engine and i will tell u,
if the answer is no to both, 95% chance its a 3sfe

check your chassis number
if it has sw20 in it then you have a 3s-ge
if it has sw23 in it then you have a 3s-fe
if it has sw20 in it then you have a 3s-ge
if it has sw23 in it then you have a 3s-fe

I believe iirc, the engine number can't be seen without removing the engine. *Awaits correction*

ahh right haha my cars mileage is over 153k and have no idea if its had rebuild or anything and i figured at the mileage it may have been rebuilt or different engine.
